CBSE has been making a paradigm shift in different aspects of school education and accordingly our focus has also shifted from instructionism to constructivism. SCIENCE LABORATORIES

The laboratories for Physics , Chemistry and Biology are fully equipped with latest equipment for Secondary and Senior Secondary classes. These help the students to review and reinforce scientific concept and investigative skills.

COMPUTER LAB

Effective application of computers in various fields creates inquisitiveness and provides our students an environment of creativity and expose them to the realm of technology in a friendly, lucid and engaging style in well equipped computer labs. The labs are well configured with multimedia, high quality printers, scanners and high velocity internet connection.

INFORMATIC PRACTICES LAB

Besides a computer lab, the school owns a separate lab for the students who opt for informatic practices . Each student is provided with a separate computer for intensive study of the subject.

MATHEMATICS LAB

Mathematics is a way of organizing our experiences in a system . Introducing exercise in this area enriches studentsâ€™ understanding of the subject. Keeping in mind the need of the hour, Mathematics laboratory is being effectively used for developing students' competence and skills in Mathematics.

CRAFT

Our Art teacher imparts intensive training in oil painting, glass painting, fabric painting etc.

THE LIBRARY

Library the nerve centre of a school. TPS believes that â€˜Knowledge is not power , it is only potential power that becomes real through use'. Reaching out to all forms of print media, the library is adequately stacked with reference books ,periodicals ,journals and magazines for the userâ€™s needs. There are more than 8000 books on different subjects . The students are encouraged to read books on different subjects .Library periods have been allocated in the time-table to enable the students to get books issued regularly.

AUDITORIUM

'A Platform of Activities' The School has a large auditorium where students showcase their talent and build up their confidence. The auditorium has a massive seating capacity. It is well furnished and well ventilated.

MEDICAL FACILITY

"If health is lost, everything is lost." Keeping the importance of health in view, the school provides excellent health facility to its students. There is a separate Medical room where qualified Doctors look after the general health of the students. Regular medical and dental check up of the students is conducted. The doctors of Shri Raghunath Hospital, Aggar Nagar, and a full time nurse attend to all the ailments and injuries. Various tests for diagnosing asthma and other lung diseases with the help of spirometer are conducted by the specialists from a reputed hospital.

MUSIC, DANCE & ART

Realizing that music is the soul of life, knowledge of music and its training under the guidance of a trained instructor with latest instrument such as Congo, Guitar, Tabla etc. is made available to the students. Various forms of dancing including classical and folk are taught to the students under the guidance of a expert teacher.

In short, through all these activities, students are encouraged to learn new skills and express their hidden talents effectively.

SCHOOL CANTEEN

A well furnished canteen in hygeinic atmosphere provides refreshments to the students during the break at affordable rates.

TRANSPORT FACILITY

The School owns a fleet of buses and provides paick and drop facility to the Tagorians.
